Zeris Remote is a camera remote control app for Android. It connects your phone to your Nikon camera over your local WiFi network using the PTP/IP protocol. No data is collected, stored remotely, or shared with anyone.
We collect nothing. Zeris Remote does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information, usage data, analytics, or crash reports.
| Permission | Why it's needed |
|---|---|
| WiFi / Network access | To discover and connect to your Nikon camera on your local network |
| Foreground service | To maintain the camera connection while the app is in the background |
| Storage / Media | To save photos transferred from your camera to your phone |
No other permissions are requested. Zeris Remote never accesses your phone's camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other personal data.
Photos are transferred directly from your Nikon camera to your device's local storage. They are never uploaded to any server. Zeris Remote has no backend, no cloud storage, and no internet connectivity beyond your local network.
Zeris Remote uses no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting services.
If this policy changes — for example, if crash reporting is added in a future update — this page will be updated and the effective date revised.
